The Ultra Lightweight Sandy Cape has been engineered to do the opposite.

If you are removing your rear seats most wagons lose around 40 to 65 kgs straight away. In many cases once the Sandy Cape and false floor are installed the net added weight to the vehicle is only around 30 to 40 kgs.

Compared to traditional plywood systems that typically weigh 112 to 150 kgs for this style setup before a fridge is even added the difference is massive.

Why is there no discount for supply only

The majority of the cost is in the manufacture materials and design of the system. Removing installation does not reduce the cost of building the system so pricing remains the same.

Does this system affect payload GVM or GCM

By keeping system weight low the Sandy Cape helps preserve available payload. In many cases managing weight properly can reduce or delay the need for GVM or GCM upgrades. Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains compliant with relevant regulations.
