The Ultra Lightweight Wharton Drawer System
The Wharton is our dual purpose system: practical every day, ready to tour when you need it. A chest fridge rides on a heavy duty slide, and the fridge hutch lifts out. Pull the fridge and drop in the infill panel, and you've got a flat, level load floor for normal cargo. It's CNC machined from composite instead of plywood, so you get the strength without the dead weight.
Supply only, or installed at our Neerabup workshop for $400. Fridge not included.
Layout
Left (passenger side): Heavy duty fridge slide for chest fridges up to 75L, with a removable fridge hutch. Underneath, an inner drawer with black laminated lift up top and fold down support leg
Right (driver side): Locking drawer, with the option to add a second drawer for $250

Touring Mode or Cargo Mode
The fridge hutch is built to suit your fridge model and lifts out when you don't need it. The supplied infill panel covers the fridge opening and leaves a flat, level surface across the top. The height is set to balance everyday use with touring, so you can still stack camping gear or cargo on top.
Electrics Kept Serviceable
There's dedicated space behind the drawers for a 12V setup up to 200Ah lithium, plus room in the wings for a compressor and water pump. Everything stays reachable when it needs servicing.

Warranty
Installation workmanship is covered by our in-house warranty. Warranty doesn't cover misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance such as excessive dust or sand buildup.
FAQ
Does the price include a fridge?
No. The system suits chest fridges up to 75L, and the hutch is built to suit the model you choose.
Can I use it without the fridge?
Yes. Lift the fridge hutch out and fit the infill panel, and the top becomes a flat, level load surface for everyday cargo.
Can I add another drawer?
Yes. A second drawer can be added on the right side for $250.
Do I need a false floor?
LC300, 250 Prado, 150 Prado, Isuzu MU-X and Next Gen Everest all need one. Please select it at checkout. For other vehicles, contact us and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
Can I fit a 12V system?
Yes. There's space behind the system for up to a 200Ah lithium battery, inverter, chargers and fuse distribution. We can install it through Voltek Auto Electrical.
How long does installation take?
One day once booked.
